People and Culture Coordinator - Recruitment

Our Strikeforce People & Culture team is looking for a hands-on People & Culture Generalist with a real passion and flair for recruitment. You'll support the Operations Teams and work closely with hiring managers on end-to-end recruitment activities.

n

The role is recruitment-focused, managing a busy, fast-moving pipeline with plenty of roles to fill. The remainder of your time will be spent across broader HR generalist duties — so you'll genuinely need to enjoy the recruitment element.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Create and place job advertisements via our Applicant Tracking System, Scout
n
- Review, shortlist and phone screen applications
n
- Coordinate pre-employment checks including reference checks, police checks and working rights checks
n
- Prepare employee contracts and correspondence, including data entry of new starter records, contract changes, salary increases and terminations
n
- Monitor and respond to employment inbox enquiries
n
- Provide generalist HR advice to the business, escalating issues where appropriate
n
- Coordinate administration for the new starter process, departing employee process, probations and other HR functions as required
n
- Work with the broader People & Culture team on HR and Safety initiatives and projects
n
- Perform HR system reviews and maintenance when required
n
- Assist with HR reporting
n
- Develop a sound understanding of the business operations
n

Key Selection Criteria

n
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment
n
- Tertiary qualification in HR or a Business-related field
n
- Proactive, positive attitude with a "can-do" mindset
n
- Self-motivated and results-driven
n




- Working knowledge of the Fair Work Act
n
- Excellent interpersonal skills
n
- Confident, approachable and resilient
n
