Shape Recruitment
Ku-ring-gai Council
Why is this role for you?
You’ve always had an outgoing personality. You consider yourself a people’s person who enjoys bringing teams together and putting a bit of life into a workplace.
You are a keen organiser, the one who gets things done and likes to help others feel connected and at ease.
Whether you've come from HR, events, executive support or another people-focused role, you love creating a positive environment where everyone feels connected.
You enjoy variety and not getting stuck in a rut. Sitting behind a desk all day isn't for you. And this role offers plenty of that.
One day you'll be welcoming three new starters, running inductions and setting up their workstations. The next you'll be organising leadership training, coordinating a charity event or visiting project sites to catch up with teams and hear what's happening on the ground.
This isn't a role where you'll simply keep the wheels turning.
This builder already has some fantastic initiatives in place, but they're looking for someone to take them to the next level and help them keep their high staff retention levels. (91% last year!)
During your first year you'll take time to understand the business, build more structured learning for all levels and coordinate their events, workshops and charity days. By year two you’d be able to implement current ideas and identify real opportunities for improvement.
You'll join a friendly team of 7 within a business of 125 staff. It's large enough to offer variety and career opportunities, but still small enough that you'll quickly get to know everyone, including the approachable directors.
Salary is in the $110-$130k + super range and the office has free parking and is right next to a train station.
