Salary: $63,000 to $88,000 per annum (based on qualifications, experience and other applicable allowances)

About the Opportunity

n

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Cook to join our aged care facility in Mandurah. You will play a vital role in preparing nutritious, high‐quality meals that cater to the dietary needs of our residents.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with aged care dietary requirements, menu plans, and resident preferences.
n
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized kitchen workplace in line with food safety standards.
n
- Ensure special diets (texture‐modified, diabetic, allergen‐free) are accurately prepared and served.
n
- Store food in temperature‐controlled facilities.
n
- Collaborate with dietitians and facility staff to ensure meal quality and compliance with care plans.




n
- Supervise and mentor kitchen assistants or food service staff when required.
n
- Participate in stock ordering, rotation, menu planning and waste management.
n

What You'll Bring

- Relevant qualification as a Cook (Minimum requirement: Certificate 3 Commercial Cookery).
n
- Significant experience in commercial cooking.
n
- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective resident care and management.
n
- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
