As an Electrical Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving GVW’s electrical instrumentation and automation assets across our water and wastewater networks. Working closely with Operations, Asset Management and Project Delivery teams, you will help ensure the reliability, safety and compliance of critical infrastructure that supports our regional communities.

In this role, you will:

- Undertake electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs across water and wastewater facilities
- Support new and upgraded electrical installations, including switchboards, PLC-controlled systems and SCADA infrastructure
- Assist with the installation,



configuration and maintenance of instrumentation and monitoring equipment
- Interpret and maintain electrical drawings, records and technical documentation
- Coordinate and work alongside contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver maintenance and project activities
- Participate in an on-call availability roster and support operational responses as required

This position is based in Alexandra and will require substantial travel across our Southern geographical area (including Shepparton/Seymour/Alexandra/Cobram). Adaptable work arrangements are available, where operationally appropriate, in line with GVW policy.
