Applicants must have proven experience setting up packaging lines within the food or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, including one or more of the following:

Food or pharmaceutical packaging line setup experience is essential.

About the Role

n

We are seeking an experienced Machine Setter / Line Setter to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company. This role involves setting up, changing over, troubleshooting, and operating packaging equipment to ensure efficient, high-quality production.

n

Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience setting up pouch, bottle, sachet, jar, or tube packaging lines will be highly regarded.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Set up packaging and production lines to ensure efficient, continuous operation.
n
- Complete changeovers of filling, capping, and labelling equipment accurately and within required timeframes.
n
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make adjustments to maximise output while minimising downtime and waste.
n
- Set up, dismantle, clean, wash, and reassemble filling and packaging equipment.
n
- Monitor product quality throughout production and make necessary process adjustments to maintain quality and compliance.
n
- Safely operate, maintain,



and change machine parts while maintaining a clean and organised work area.
n
- Ensure all work complies with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
n
- Complete ERP transactions, production documentation, and reporting accurately.
n
- Participate in training relating to SOPs, GMP, OH&S;, and 5S.
n

Skills & Experience

n

To be successful, you will have:

n

n
- Proven experience setting up bottle, sachet, tube, pouch, or jar packaging lines within the food or pharmaceutical industry.
n
- Previous experience in a similar Machine Setter or Line Setter role.
n
- Solid mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
n
- Experience operating filling, capping, labelling, and packaging equipment.
n
- A sound understanding of GMP, OH&S;, and quality standards.
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
n
- The ability to work independently and proactively.
n
- Experience using ERP systems (advantageous).
n
- A forklift licence (advantageous).
n

Requirements

- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
n
- Australian Permanent Residency, Australian Citizenship, or New Zealand Citizenship is mandatory.
n
