The primary focus of this role will be conducting routine inspections across our property portfolio, with some leasing responsibilities when required and providing administrative support to our Senior Property Manager. You will be an important part of the property management team, helping ensure properties are well maintained, tenants are well looked after and landlords receive a high level of service. This is a varied role with a great balance between office-based administration and being out on the road meeting tenants, inspecting properties and assisting with leasing.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled routine inspections of residential properties
- Prepare detailed and accurate routine inspection reports
- Identify maintenance, presentation and compliance issues
- Communicate any issues and recommendations to the Senior Property Manager
- Follow up on outstanding items identified during inspections
- Communicate professionally with tenants regarding property presentation and maintenance requirements
- Assist with leasing activities when required
- Conduct open homes and private inspections
- Provide administrative support to the Senior Property Manager
- Update property management systems and ensure records are accurate and current

- Organised, reliable and able to manage their time effectively
- Professional, friendly and confident dealing with people
- Comfortable communicating with tenants, landlords, trades and team members
- Detail-oriented and committed to getting things right
- Proactive and willing to take ownership of their responsibilities
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Confident using technology and property management software
- Interested in developing their career within the real estate industry
- Previous property management experience is preferred, however we are open to the right person who has a robust work ethic, great attitude and willingness to learn
