Plus Community delivers as a range of domestic violence, homelessness and other services in regional NSW. We are considered one of the leading providers in NSW in DFV and homelessness services, and have a number of exciting projects on the horizon to improve our services, expand our programs and geographical footprint. Client and tenant outcomes are the heart of everything we do.

We are seeking an experienced Practice Governance Officer to work across our diverse portfolio of community and housing services across regional NSW, to ensure delivery of safe, high-quality and continuously improving services that are trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and person-centred. This role can be based in Orange, Mudgee, Bathurst or Dubbo.

Working alongside the Practice Lead, the Practice Governance Officer will:

- support the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Practice Governance Framework across the organisation.
- champion high quality and safe practice at all times
- support the Practice Lead to establish a learning culture and proactively identify gaps and opportunities for learning and development then develop and deliver and coordinate training with staff
- work closely with the Practice Lead and key stakeholders to embed consistent, safe and evidence-informed practice through the Multimodal Supervision Model, Learning circles with internal training, Communities of Practice, practice guides and continuous improvement activities
- Assist the Practice Lead and Operational Managers in updating practice governance policies, procedures, templates and practice guide materials
- supporting consultation, communication and coaching with staff and leaders regarding practice,



including integrating theories, models, approaches and frameworks into practice delivery
- support the Practice Lead and Management in the integration of assessment processes and tools into operational practice
- supporting the Practice Lead to promote and monitor practice and identify opportunities to strengthen practice governance through feedback, audit findings and service learnings.

Our ideal candidate has:

- Extensive knowledge and experience working within a community service and/or health clinical setting
- Qualifications in relevant field such as social work / community services/ governance.
- The ability to lead and embed best evidence informed practice across teams, and work positively with staff and leaders
- Knowledge regarding theory, models, approaches and frameworks to support practice
- Experience in supporting and coaching staff in practice
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Experience in practice governance and training delivery is desirable
