About the Role
n
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing and a broad range of payroll administration, reporting and reconciliation activities. You will also work closely with HR and Finance to support employee lifecycle activities and compliance obligations.
n
This is a 6 month contract offered as either full time (5 days per week) or part time (3 or 4 days per week) depending on your preference.

Key Responsibilities
n

- End-to-end payroll processing
n
- Payroll reconciliations, journals and reporting
n
- Workers compensation administration and audit coordination
n
- Processing terminations, redundancies and new starters
n
- Superannuation, payroll tax and employee deduction administration
n
- Monthly payroll accruals and general ledger reconciliations
n
- Payroll forecasting and variance analysis
n
- Employee leave and salary packaging administration
n
- Fleet administration support
n
- Processing employee expenses
n
- Responding to payroll queries and ad hoc reporting requests
n
- Supporting HR administration and employee documentation
n
n
About You
n
You are a detail-oriented payroll professional with strong technical capability and a proactive, team-focused approach.
n
To be successful, you will bring:
n
n
- Previous payroll experience in a medium to large organisation
n
- Experience using Empower/Micro-Pay payroll systems preferred
n
- Solid knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
n
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
n
- High levels of accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail
n
- Strong organisational and time management skills
n
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
n
