WE'RE HIRING: Mental Health Support Workers - Wollongong, NSW

About the Role

This is a casual position with flexible shifts. You'll be working in Supported Independent Living (SIL) settings, providing tailored support to participants with diverse needs.

What We're Looking For

- Complex and aggressive behaviours (highly desirable)
- Brain injury and schizophrenia support (highly desirable)
- Medication administration
- Accurate documentation (shift notes, incident reports)
- Time management and adaptability across varied environments
- Fluent English - both verbal and written (non-negotiable)

What You'll Be Doing

- Supporting participants in daily living activities
- Promoting independence and community engagement
- Delivering care aligned with individual support plans
- Ensuring a protected, respectful, and empowering environment




- Collaborating with staff and team leaders to deliver exceptional care
- Must be able to commit to PM and Sleepover shifts on a rotating roster .

Must-Have Credentials

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Police Check
- NDIS Orientation Modules
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Infection Control Training Certificate
- Current Driver's License & reliable vehicle
- Right to work in Australia
