About The Role

n

Maintenance Co‐ordinator – Outdoor Specialist

n

Youthworks Outdoors seeks a full‐time Maintenance Coordinator to support the Shoalhaven property. The role ensures the venue meets quality, safety and operational standards while providing effective maintenance services for our youth programs.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Oversee day‐to‐day maintenance of Shoalhaven & Kangaroo Valley properties, ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
n
- Coordinate maintenance contractors, ensuring scope of work is completed on time and within budget.
n
- Make recommendations to the Centre Manager regarding changes to scheduled maintenance.
n
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and legislation.
n
- Oversee maintenance staff, assigning tasks based on skill sets and priority.
n
- Assist the Centre Manager in recruitment, training, mentoring and performance management of maintenance staff.
n
- Adhere to expenditure limits approved by the Centre Manager and process invoices and payments within the required timeframes.
n




- Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

n

n
- Personal Christian faith and a demonstrated commitment to Youthworks' vision and values.
n
- Experience working in landscaping, gardening, greenkeeping or bush care.
n
- WorkSafe NSW licence(s) relevant to maintenance operations.
n
- Relevant qualifications in horticulture, greenkeeping or related fields.
n
- Proven knowledge of industry and safety standards.
n
- Valid first aid qualifications.
n
- Current driver's licence and reliable personal transport, as public transport is limited near Shoalhaven Conference Centres.
n
