Pyramids Plumbing is seeking suitably qualified and experienced Civil Plumber / Accredited Water-Main Pipelayerto join our growing Civil Construction team, to help deliver upon all Company projects, operations, and planned works in a professional and timely manner. There are several opportunities available within the team with opportunities to be trained in the power industry.

About the role

This is a specialised civil plumbing position focused on potable-water mains and water infrastructure. The successful candidate will have experience working with buried water mains, valves, hydrants, thrust restraint and pressure testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Construct and pressure-test potable-water mains.
- Install and work with PVC, PE and/or ductile-iron water mains.
- Install and inspect valves, hydrants, service connections, temporary blanks and thrust restraint.
- Conduct pressure testing in accordance with Water Corporation DS63 and AS/NZS 2566.2 requirements.
- Complete pressure-test records, pipelayer certification and required project documentation.
- Ensure works are completed to the required Water Corporation standards and specifications.
- Work closely with supervisors, project representatives and other site personnel to ensure quality and timely project delivery.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and compliance.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:





- White Card and relevant site tickets.
- Current driver's licence – required.
- Proven experience constructing and pressure-testing potable-water mains.
- Water Corporation Pipelayer Accreditation/ID, where required for the project.
- Experience with PVC, PE and/or ductile-iron mains.
- Knowledge of valves, hydrants, service connections and thrust restraint.
- Experience with water-main pressure testing and documentation.
- Ability to complete pipelayer certification and pressure-test records.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A professional, reliable and quality-focused approach to your work.

Additional Opportunities Pyramid Civil is also looking to expand the project team with opportunities for:

- Pressure-Testing Technician / Pump Operator - will be responsible for setting up and operating pressure-testing equipment, conducting hydraulic pressure tests on newly installed water mains, monitoring test pressures and recording results in accordance with project specifications and Water Corporation requirements.
- Civil Labourers / Pipelayers - handling the ground-level preparation, pipe assembly, and trench restoration.




- Superintendent / Project Representative – focusing on inspection and documentation acts as the critical link between field operations, client specifications, and statutory standards (such as Water Corporation requirements).
- Water Corporation Asset Inspector – representative who ensures all newly constructed water and wastewater infrastructure meets WA statutory standards before it is accepted into the public network

- White Card – required.
- Current Driver’s Licence – required.
- Relevant experience in the position being applied for.
- Solid commitment to safety, quality and compliance.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, professional and safety-focused work ethic.

- Attractive Remuneration: Up to 60$ per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Full-Time Permanent Position: Secure employment with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, with additional hours available as required.
