About the Role

MSMW is seeking an experienced and organised Intake Officer to manage both recent participant intakes and an allocated caseload of existing clients.

The role involves working closely with participants, families, guardians, Support Coordinators and internal teams to ensure services are set up correctly and continue to meet participant needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage new participant referrals, enquiries and intake processes.

- Collect participant support information, risks, health needs, goals and preferences.

- Coordinate intake meetings, assessments and required documentation.

- Work with rostering to allocate suitable support workers.

- Identify and coordinate participant-specific staff training.

- Assist with Service Agreements and commencement of supports.

- Maintain regular contact with existing clients and stakeholders.

- Monitor changes in participant needs, NDIS plans and support arrangements.

- Follow up service issues, feedback and concerns.

- Ensure participant files, support plans, risk assessments and related documents remain current.

- Coordinate with House Managers, rostering, compliance and management.





- Maintain clear and timely communication with participants, families and Support Coordinators.

About You

You will ideally have

- Experience in the NDIS, disability or community services sector.

- Experience in intake, client services, service coordination or case management.

- Good understanding of NDIS participant supports.

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

- Excellent organisation, documentation and follow-up skills.

- Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities.

- Confidence working with participants, families, guardians and professionals.

- Experience with SIL, complex supports, Behaviour Support or high-intensity supports will be highly regarded.
