Scheduling Officer - After hours, In-Home Support Services

An exciting opportunity has become available to join a well‑respected not‑for‑profit organisation based in Macquarie Park. This role will support a busy scheduling team responsible for coordinating in‑home support services, ensuring vulnerable people receive the care they need, when they need it.

You will be required to work Monday to Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 3pm - 9.30pm. There may be some flexibility with start times to work around your schedule.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and manage rosters for in‑home support workers
- Allocate and adjust shifts, including arranging cover for sick or unavailable staff
- Respond to urgent scheduling requests and service changes in a timely manner
- Liaise with carers, clients and internal stakeholders to confirm and update booking details
- Ensure appropriate matching of carers to clients based on skills, location and availability
- Maintain accurate records in scheduling systems and internal databases
- Monitor service delivery and elevate issues where required to ensure continuity of care




- Work as part of a collaborative team to meet service levels and response time targets

About You

- Experience in scheduling, workforce coordination or rostering, ideally within aged care, disability (NDIS) or community services
- Comfortable working in a high‑volume, fast‑paced and time‑sensitive environment
- Strong organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Clear, professional communication skills when dealing with carers, clients and internal teams
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when updating rosters and records
- Empathetic and solutions‑focused approach, particularly when dealing with last‑minute changes or vulnerable clients
- Reliable, proactive and keen to contribute to meaningful, purpose‑driven work
