We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and reliable Property Maintenance Manager to join Phillip Island Host as a key member of our team. This is a full-time position managing 100+ short-term rental properties across the Phillip Island region. You will be the boots on the ground—hands-on, independent, and committed to delivering 5-star property standards and exceptional owner and guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Daily property inspections and maintenance checks
n
Performing small maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, general upkeep)
n
Gas bottle replacements, bin management, and waste coordination
n
Purchasing and managing supplies and maintenance materials
n
Proactive communication with property owners regarding status updates and maintenance issues
n
Guest communication and problem-solving during stays
n
Ensuring properties meet our 5-star management standards at all times
n
Coordinating with our cleaning team and other operational staff
n
What We Are Looking For
n
Hands-on, independent worker who can manage multiple properties and tasks without close supervision
n
Experience in property maintenance, property management, or facilities management
n
Ability to diagnose and resolve common maintenance issues quickly and effectively
n
Excellent communication skills—clear, professional, and customer-focused
n
Solid time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize across multiple properties
n
Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering results
n
Driver's license (essential for the role)
n
Willingness to work flexibly and respond to urgent maintenance issues as needed
