Your new company

Client is privately owned high-end development and project management consultancy based in Brisbane. They offer full range of DM and PM services working for predominantly private sector developers in the multi-residential, retail, industrial, commercial sectors. As result of continued growth, they are looking to hire a client-side project manager to join their team.

Your new role The role is broad project management role. The company works on behalf of their clients right from acquisition and feasibility stage of projects right through design, planning and project delivery as Supers rep. The business employs a multidisciplinary team of professionals across the development and project delivery lifecycle, enabling it to provide clients with a fully integrated service offering to their clients and genuinely own project deliverables from start to finish.

The role is all client facing, so requires positive, proactive communicator able to coordinate and manage relationships across internal stakeholders, external consultants, contractors and other suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to budget.

What you'll need to succeed The client is looking for an experienced client-side Project Manager or potentially an experienced Contract Administrator currently working for head contractor who is looking to transition into a client-side environment.

This opportunity offers exposure to a broader scope of responsibilities than a traditional contractor-side role, providing greater variety, ownership and influence across the full project lifecycle.

Candidates should be tertiary qualified in Construction Management,



Quantity Surveying or a related building discipline. Strong commercial acumen, communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities are essential.

Candidates will ideally have 3-5 years of experience and the ability to manage projects with a high degree of autonomy.

To note the company likes to take on juniors’ cadets, etc and to train them. They therefore value the more staff being in the office to help mentor, coach and develop the team. They don't offer regular WFH. Its an office based role.
