The Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) Patient Flow Unit is seeking a suitably experienced Registered Nurse to join their team in the role of the Capacity Co-ordinator. This exciting prospect offers a part time position, working across a 7 day week until April 2027.

The Patient Flow Unit is located within Nursing and Midwifery Operations at Royal North Shore Hospital. The team includes the Patient Flow Manager, Bed Managers and Deputy Director of Nursing and Midwifery.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

- Current Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation (AHPRA). Post registration qualification in acute care nursing,



and at least three years’ experience working in a relevant clinical area or such other qualifications or relevant equivalent experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with high level negotiation, conflict resolution skills and demonstrated clinical leadership skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge in initiating and implementing changes to improve clinical service delivery and outcomes, models of care, evidence based practice and practice development
- A comprehensive understanding of New South Wales Ministry of Health Key Performance Indicators including ETP and TOC.
- Proven ability to prioritise and meet deadlines with the ability to work autonomously.
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in Microsoft Applications, Patient Flow Portal, First Net and Cerner eMR.
