Northern Health are seeking applications from dedicated and adaptable Clinical or Health Psychologists to join the dynamic Allied Health Psychology Department.
This permanent role offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience in providing psychological services across a diverse range of inpatient and outpatient settings. In this role you will receive exceptional supervision and professional development opportunities while working within a supportive, collaborative and progressive team.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our six main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.
About the Role
The role will involve
- Primarily working within acute and subacute inpatient services
- Opportunity to work across community and outpatient specialist clinics
- Providing evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment
- Multidisciplinary collaboration and consultation
- Providing clinical backfill cover for staff on leave
This is an ongoing Grade 2 part-time (0.6 EFT, 48 hours per fortnight) position.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- An enthusiastic, adaptable and collaborative style
- Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Experience or a keen interest in providing psychological care within a public health setting
