Role Description The Clinical Trial Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Darlinghurst, NSW. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing clinical trial activities, including participant recruitment, screening, enrollment, and follow-up in accordance with approved protocols and ethical guidelines. The coordinator will organize study visits, maintain accurate and timely trial documentation, prepare ethics and governance submissions, and ensure regulatory compliance and data integrity.

Day-to-day tasks include liaising with investigators, research nurses, sponsors, and multidisciplinary teams, tracking project timelines, and contributing to trial-related reporting. The role also involves educating participants about study procedures, supporting quality improvement initiatives,



and assisting with audits and monitoring visits to ensure high standards of clinical research practice.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Clinical Trials and Protocol skills, including experience working within Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ethics/regulatory frameworks.
- Candidates should possess solid Research skills, including data collection, documentation, and familiarity with research methodologies and clinical trial processes.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for engaging with participants, clinical teams, sponsors, and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, organizing, time management, and coordination of multiple studies or trial activities.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health sciences, nursing, pharmacology, or a related field, or equivalent clinical research experience.
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare research setting and familiarity with electronic data capture systems and clinical trial management software.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, and capacity to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Commitment to ethical conduct, patient-centered care, and continuous professional development in clinical research.
