Role Description This part-time remote Cloud Support Engineer role focuses on providing technical assistance and operational support for cloud-based systems and services. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and resolving cloud infrastructure issues, responding to support tickets, and assisting users with connectivity, performance, and access problems.

The role involves monitoring systems, performing routine maintenance, and collaborating with other technical staff to improve reliability and security.

The Cloud Support

Engineer will document solutions, follow established procedures for incident and change management, and help optimize configurations in line with best practices. This position requires consistent communication with internal teams and clients to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient cloud operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for identifying, analyzing, and resolving cloud-related issues.
- Candidates should possess System Administration skills for managing cloud resources,



user accounts, and configurations.
- Candidates should possess Networking skills for understanding connectivity, routing, and performance in cloud environments.
- Candidates should possess Network Security skills for implementing and maintaining secure configurations, access controls, and monitoring.
- Relevant experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage priorities, and respond effectively to incidents.
- Professional certifications in cloud technologies or networking (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
- Prior experience in a support, help desk, or operations role within IT or cloud infrastructure is preferred.
