Internal Only- Acting/Secondment Opportunity

About the role In this role, you will lead the delivery of Council's Club Development Program, build strong relationships with sporting and leisure clubs, and drive initiatives that encourage participation in active recreation across Knox. You will also coordinate the annual Knox Sport and Leisure Awards and work with a broad range of stakeholders to support positive outcomes for our community.

This is a part-time secondment role (3 days per week) until December 18, 2026, based at East Gate South. We support flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs of the role are met.

This is a Band 6 classified role. Remuneration will be $102,287.48 to $111,713.31 (depending on experience) (pro-rata for part time/fixed term) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

What you will bring to this role The key selection criteria for this role are:

- Experience delivering leisure,



recreation, sport or community development programs.
- Solid communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to influence outcomes and build effective partnerships.
- Excellent planning, organisation and project management capabilities.
- A commitment to creating inclusive opportunities for community participation.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in recreation, leisure, sport, health promotion or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
