Key Responsibilities
- Load, set up, and program CNC machines for turning, boring, milling, and drilling metal components.
- Adjust machine controls, including tool positioning, cutting depth, speed, and feed rates.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications, translating them into exact machine commands.
- Operate equipment efficiently while upholding strict OH&S; guidelines and safety protocols.
What We're Looking For
- Australian Trade-Tested Qualification (Cert III) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in setting and operating CNC machinery.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with hand/power tools.
- Unwavering commitment to workplace safety.
- Must currently reside in Australia with full working rights.
