Role Description This full-time, on-site CNC Milling Machinist role is based in Dandenong, VIC. The CNC Milling Machinist will set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components according to technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities include selecting tools, adjusting machine settings, performing test runs, and monitoring machining processes to ensure accurate output. The role involves inspecting finished parts, maintaining equipment,



and working closely with supervisors and engineers to meet production schedules and quality standards. The machinist will also contribute to continuous improvement, safe work practices, and efficient workflow in the workshop.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in CNC Machine Operation and general Machinery handling in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with Machining and Milling processes, including setup and tooling selection.
- Knowledge of Quality Control practices, including measurement, inspection, and tolerance verification.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering documentation, and work instructions.
- Prior experience as a CNC machinist or similar role in precision manufacturing.
- Understanding of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe, clean workspace.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in machining, manufacturing, or a related field is highly regarded.
