We're looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team in Woolloongabba on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This role is ideal for a proactive AR professional with strong collections experience who enjoys building relationships, resolving account issues, and driving positive cash flow outcomes. You'll play a key role in managing debtor accounts, reducing aged debt, and delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage collections activities and follow up outstanding accounts
- Maintain customer accounts and debtor ledgers
- Process high-volume invoicing and account reconciliations
- Resolve payment queries and customer disputes
- Manage claims and support timely invoice payments
- Provide responsive customer service and account support
- Maintain accurate records and financial data
- Partner with internal teams to support finance operations and improve outcomes
About You
- 3+ years' experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Collections
- Proven success managing debtor accounts and collections targets
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central or similar ERP systems is highly regarded
