Are you ready to take the next step in your network engineering career? RSM is seeking a Network Engineer to join our collaborative and innovative IT team in Perth. Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
n
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability
n
- Implement and manage network security measures to protect infrastructure and data
n
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and procedures
n
- Provide technical support for network‐related issues
n
- Assist with network upgrades and maintenance
n
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
n
- Collaborate with IT staff and other departments to support organisational goals
n

n

Qualifications & Experience

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
n
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in network administration or network projects
n




- Fortinet experience is essential – candidates must be proficient in configuring and managing Fortinet products
n
- Fortinet certifications such as Fortinet Certified Fundamentals (FCF), Associate (FCA), Qualified (FCP), or higher are highly regarded
n

Key Skills & Attributes

n

n
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, SDWAN)
n
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
n
- Knowledge of wireless networking technologies and best practices
n
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues
n
- Understanding of network security best practices
n
- Excellent communication skills – able to explain technical concepts clearly
n
- Strong documentation and organisational skills
n
- Customer‐focused approach to technical support
n
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies
n
- Commitment to compliance and industry standards
