About the role:

As a Support Worker, you willprovidesupportto our Participants in their homes and the community to increase their individual skills,



help build their capacity and achieve their goals! You will promote and provide environments that support the safety, independence, growth, health, and well-being of our Participants..

The successful candidate will have:

Enthusiasmto work as a Support person within the disability and/or Mental Health sector

An understanding of what it means to support in a way thatrespects their rights, dignity, values, beliefs, and personal goals

Ability toeffectively manage complex behaviours and situationsand use initiative to either resolve or expand issues as they arise

Ability tocommunicate effectively

A current NSW Working with Children Check (or willingness to apply)

NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply)

Current First Aid Certificate

NSW Drivers Licence with your own Comprehensively Insured Car

*For breaks between shifts that are 30 minutes or less.
