About the Role

n

We are looking for a hands-on Accountant to join our finance team, working closely with the Head of Finance and collaborating with operational stakeholders. This is a broad, commercially focused role that combines core accounting responsibilities with business partnering, financial analysis, and process improvement.

n

You will gain direct exposure to decision-making across billing, procurement, inventory, and cash flow, making a tangible impact on business performance.

Key Responsibilities

n

You will take ownership of:

n

n
- Transactional finance oversight, including billing cycles, accounts receivable and accounts payable integrity, and general ledger management
n
- Financial reporting, including month‐end close, profit and loss statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and consolidated reporting
n
- Cash flow management, including forecasting, monitoring, and working capital improvement
n
- Merchant facilities reconciliation, covering credit card, EFTPOS, and online payment gateways
n
- Inventory, cost accounting, and revenue recognition processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment to business operations
n

You will also support broader business performance through:

n

n
- Preparation of management reporting packs, including financial commentary and analysis
n
- Contribution to budgeting and rolling forecasts
n
- Delivery of commercial insights, including margin analysis, pricing reviews, and project or product profitability
n
- Continual development of KPI dashboards, including metrics such as DSO, DPO, billing accuracy, and cost ratios
n
- Partnering with operations, sales,



and procurement teams to support informed decision‐making
n
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls across AR, AP, and financial reporting processes
n
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and data accuracy
n
- Support compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
n

About You

n

We are looking for a well‐rounded accounting professional who brings both technical capability and a proactive approach to problem solving. You will bring:

n

n
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
n
- CA, CPA or equivalent qualification, or near completion
n
- Approximately 3 to 5 years' experience in a broad accounting or commercial finance role
n
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and month‐end processes
n
- Practical experience managing AR, AP, billing, and general ledger activities
n

You will also demonstrate

- Advanced Excel capability, with Power BI or similar tools highly regarded
n
- Experience working with ERP systems, billing platforms, and financial data environments
n
- Clear communication, a proactive mindset, and the ability to prioritise effectively in a deadline‐driven environment
n
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
n
- A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to engage non‐finance stakeholders
n
- A willingness to mentor and support junior team members
n
