Registered Psychologist - Phobia Treatment Specialist

Are you a passionate Registered Psychologist looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals struggling with phobias? Do you want to be part of a dynamic and innovative practice that blends evidence-based therapies with groundbreaking Virtual Reality (VR) tools?

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate psychologist to join our clients growing team in Western Sydney. This clinic specialises in phobia-focused therapy, integrating traditional psychological approaches with the latest in immersive VR technology to help clients face and overcome their fears in a safe, controlled environment.

Your Role:
n As a Registered Psychologist, you will:
n
n
- Deliver specialist treatment for phobias using a blend of traditional and VR-enhanced exposure therapies.
n
- Provide tailored, evidence-based interventions to clients from various funding backgrounds.
n
- Maintain a strong therapeutic alliance and focus on person-centred care.
n
- Collaborate with a clinical team to continuously enhance client outcomes.
n
n
About You:
n
Fully registered with AHPRA as a Psychologist (clinical endorsement highly regarded but not essential).
n
n
- Experience or strong interest in treating phobias and anxiety disorders.
n
- Comfortable using or learning to use Virtual Reality technology as part of treatment.
n
- Skilled in delivering a range of therapeutic modalities.
n
- Empathetic, driven, and committed to making a real difference.
n
