Job Description
n
n
- Lead and manage Production and Warehouse teams, providing direction, support, and development
n
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and implement quality, safety, health, and environmental systems
n
- Oversee safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment, including hazard analyses and preventive maintenance programmes
n
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands whilst managing costs and resources efficiently
n
- Monitor productivity, investigate downtime issues, and collaborate with staff to identify and implement process improvements
n
- Coordinate logistics for product deliveries and manage purchase orders for projects and maintenance work
n
- Assess and maintain a register of approved contractors; supervise on‐site contractors to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
n
- Support the QC Laboratory to ensure compliance with product and environmental standards
n
- Maintain comprehensive records related to plant maintenance, repairs, and modifications
n
- Promote waste minimisation, efficient use of raw materials (FIFO), and maintain high housekeeping standards across the site
n
- Conduct Toolbox meetings and routine staff communications; participate in internal audits and risk assessments
n
- Ensure timely processing of administrative documentation and support site security measures
n
- Report on operational performance, including safety, environmental metrics, and KPIs
n
- Perform other duties as directed by the Operations Manager
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar manufacturing or operations environment
n
- Demonstrated experience in assisting or leading site operations effectively
n
- Background in production and warehouse operations
n
- Attention to detail, analytical and problem‐solving abilities
n
- Experience with ERP software packages and Microsoft Office programs
n
n
