AECOM's 12‐week paid internship offers students the opportunity to work with a high‐performing team of engineers, designers and drafters, contributing to civil infrastructure projects such as defence, transport and energy.

How you'll make a difference

- Assist in the planning, design and delivery of civil infrastructure to support the wider AECOM business
n
- Support design management activities such as quality review planning and comment responses
n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver client‐focused solutions

- Support on‐site inspections

Qualifications

- Summer Intern attributes: Interns who are curious and excited to apply their studies in a qualified environment, with strong communication, teamwork skills, a positive and proactive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
n
- Bachelor's Degree: Must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering.
n
- Commencement: Able to work full time hours from mid‐November 2026 to mid‐February 2027.
n
- Working Rights: Must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying. Candidates with student and graduate visas are accepted.
