The Commercial Operations Leader will support local supply chain and logistics activities, offer business and financial analysis support, contract and tender management, and assist the Sales & Marketing organisation across diverse operational, logistics and commercial activities. This will be in conjunction with shared service functional teams.
Supply Chain and Logistics
- Direct line Manager to AU Customer Service Representative
- Maintaining accurate demand forecast, considering country specific business needs and operational constraints
- Oversee from a local perspective the Sales, Inventory & Operation Planning (SIOP) cycle
- Be the main, local interface with suppliers and partners for supply chain/logistics activities
- Follow up Australia and New Zealand inbound shipments with freight forwarders.
- Follow up 3PL/4PL daily operation, to ensure logistic operations are on track to support market sales.
- Manage stock transfer between Sydney warehouse and Perth warehouse, to ensure sufficient stock placement.
- Ensure inventory reconciliation between SAP and 3PL system
- National Product Catalogue management
- Support recall activity as required
- Local lead with other various supply chain and logistics related activities
Business Analysis
- Partner with APAC shared services other functional teams, for business and financial analysis activities to support local decision making
- Partake in budgeting processes, business reviews and ad hoc analysis
- Preparation of sales/product/customer reports
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards
Sales and Marketing Support
- General operational support for the sales and marketing team such as events, co-ordination of promotions, development of materials
- Market and sales analysis, generating reports to monitor developments and contribute to strategic marketing and commercial excellence plans.
- Analytical support for price decisions
- Price list management
Tender and Contract Management
- Ensure management of timely submissions with high quality responses aligned to commercial strategy
- Reviewing and ongoing management of contracts ensuring contract compliance – customers, partners, leases, contractors etc
- Ad hoc duties and one-off projects as required
Education, background required for the job
- 7 years’ experience in medical/pharmaceutical field.
- Solid financial acumen - commerce/finance related qualifications is a plus but not required
- Operations/supply chain experience
- Power BI and excel experience
- Experience with data management, analysis and reporting
- IT System oriented, extensive knowledge of Microsoft PC applications
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills, ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail
- Good team player, positive attitude, good work ethic
