Company Description: Meat & Greet is a networking community that connects people across Australia’s meat and agribusiness supply chain to strengthen the industry through meaningful relationships. Based around monthly events in Brisbane, the organization brings together processors, producers, suppliers, service providers, and emerging leaders to share ideas and stay engaged with sector developments. Events provide a relaxed, inclusive environment that encourages open conversation, collaboration, and practical networking.

Meat & Greet focuses on building a supportive community where participants can expand their networks and contribute to a stronger, more connected industry. Interested individuals can follow the organization for event dates, photos, and further ways to get involved.

Role Description: We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join the Meat & Greet Committee and help shape one of industry's up and coming networking events.

As a Committee Member, you'll work alongside a passionate team to plan and deliver our regular events, support our growing community, and contribute ideas to help Meat & Greet continue to evolve. From coordinating venues and sponsors to promoting events and welcoming new faces, every committee member plays an significant role in creating a welcoming experience for our attendees.





This is a flexible, voluntary role based in Brisbane, perfect for someone who enjoys connecting people, giving back to the industry, and having a bit of fun along the way. Whether you have experience in events, marketing, sponsorship, or simply a passion for the meat and agribusiness sector, we'd love to hear from you.

You don't need to tick every box, but you'll probably fit right in if you:

- Enjoy bringing people together and making connections
- Can organise more than just your fridge
- Like turning ideas into reality
- Know your way around a group chat, social media post, or spreadsheet
- Have a passion for the Australian meat and agribusiness industry, or want to become more involved
- Are a team player who enjoys collaborating and having a laugh along the way
- Can spare a few hours each month to help make our events happen
- Aren't afraid to introduce yourself to someone new
- Have a knack for getting things done, even when life gets busy

Bonus points if you:

- Have experience with event planning, sponsorship, marketing, or social media
- Know someone who "should definitely come along next month"
- Have ideas to help grow Meat & Greet and make it even better
