About Beyond Dietetics
Beyond Dietetics is a locally owned and growing dietetic practice based in Adelaide, South Australia.
We provide practical, person-centred nutrition support across the NDIS, community and aged-care sectors , working with clients, families, carers and support teams to achieve meaningful and sustainable nutrition outcomes.
Our work extends beyond traditional clinic-based dietetics. We support clients in their homes and communities and work collaboratively with the people involved in their day-to-day care.
As Beyond Dietetics continues to grow, we are looking for a Dietitian who would like to develop with the practice and become a valued long-term member of our team.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Dietitian for a permanent part-time position of approximately 15–20 hours per week .
The role will primarily involve supporting NDIS participants and community clients across Adelaide , with a combination of client consultations, nutrition intervention, stakeholder communication and clinical documentation.
You will work with a diverse caseload and have the opportunity to build experience in areas including:
- Disability and NDIS nutrition
- Community dietetics
- Chronic disease management
- Aged care
- Nutrition education and practical skill development
- Mealtime support and food-related capacity building
We also welcome applicants with an interest in developing additional clinical areas such as women's health, gastrointestinal nutrition or other areas of dietetic practice . You do not need to know everything when you start. We are looking for someone who is clinically curious, reliable, willing to learn and comfortable gradually developing greater independence.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will include
- Conducting comprehensive, evidence-based nutrition assessments.
- Developing individualised nutrition interventions that are practical for the client's circumstances, abilities and goals.
- Providing nutrition education to clients, families, carers and support staff.
- Supporting NDIS participants to work towards nutrition-related goals and greater independence.
- Monitoring outcomes and adjusting nutrition interventions as required.
- Preparing high-quality clinical documentation, including progress notes, nutrition plans and NDIS reports.
- Communicating and collaborating with support coordinators, carers, families, SIL providers and other health professionals.
- Managing your allocated caseload, including timely follow-up with clients and stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical notes and records.
- Contributing to the development of nutrition resources and practical client strategies.
- Participating in supervision, case discussions and career development.
- Contributing positively to the ongoing development of Beyond Dietetics.

Essential Requirements Applicants must have,
or be willing and eligible to obtain where applicable:
- Qualification recognised for practice as a Dietitian in Australia.
- Current Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working With Children Check.
- National Police Check.
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
- Access to a reliable vehicle for community appointments.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Appropriate professional indemnity coverage for their scope of practice.
- Willingness to travel to clients across metropolitan Adelaide and, where agreed, surrounding areas.
Desirable Experience We would particularly like to hear from applicants with:
- Approximately 1–2+ years of dietetic experience , although motivated new graduates are also welcome to apply.
- Previous NDIS, disability or community-health experience.
- Experience working with people with disability and their support networks.
- Experience preparing clinical or NDIS reports.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
- Experience in aged care, chronic disease, gastrointestinal nutrition or women's health.
- An interest in developing practical nutrition resources, cooking programs or client education.
Experience is valuable, but attitude, reliability, communication and willingness to develop are equally important to us .
