About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Construction Labourer to join our Adelaide-based team. The position involves supporting our electrical and high-voltage construction teams across substations, renewable energy facilities, data centres and other high-voltage infrastructure projects throughout Australia.

The role involves regular interstate travel and rotation-based project rosters. An important part of the position will also involve driving company HR vehicles to transport equipment, materials and tools between our Adelaide operations and project sites.

Depending on your experience, responsibilities may include:

- General construction and site labouring
- Assisting electrical and high-voltage construction crews with installation activities
- Assisting with the installation, assembly and movement of electrical equipment
- Cable installation and cable pulling
- Installation and assembly of equipment, supports and structures
- Use of hand and power tools
- Loading, unloading and movement of equipment and materials
- Driving HR vehicles for the transport of equipment, materials and tools
- Safely loading, securing and unloading transported equipment and materials




- Conducting vehicle inspections and completing required transport documentation
- Site establishment, mobilisation and demobilisation activities
- Assisting with deliveries, materials management and site logistics
- Operating plant and equipment where appropriately licensed
- Maintaining vehicles, equipment and work areas in a clean and organised condition
- Following Safe Work Method Statements, permits and site procedures
- Completion of required safety and quality documentation
- Working effectively with electricians, tradespeople, supervisors and other site personnel

About You

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and willing to contribute as part of a skilled construction team. You will be comfortable working in an industrial construction environment and undertaking a variety of hands-on duties. You will also be a competent and responsible HR driver who can safely transport company equipment and materials when required.

You will take pride in your work, show initiative and maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety.

A positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work effectively with others are important for this role.

Essential Requirements

- Current HR Driver's Licence
- Experience and confidence operating HR vehicles
- Current Construction Industry White Card




- Good driving record and commitment to safe vehicle operation
- Ability to safely load and secure equipment and materials for transport
- Previous construction, industrial or labouring experience
- Ability to safely use common hand and power tools
- Physically capable of undertaking construction and labouring activities
- Willingness to travel and work interstate project rosters
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures and safe work practices
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety

Highly Regarded

The following qualifications and experience will be viewed favourably but are not essential:
- Electrical or high-voltage construction experience
- Substation or renewable energy project experience
- Experience transporting construction, electrical or industrial equipment
- Experience with cable installation and cable pulling
- High Risk Work Licences, including WP, LF, DG or RB
- Working at Heights certification
- Telehandler Gold Card
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Experience working on major infrastructure or industrial construction projects
