Waterlogic Environmental Systems is seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis at our Oakville, NSW office. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the design, planning, and delivery of dam liners and floating cover projects all over Australia. This position offers the opportunity to work on meaningful projects whilst contributing to the growth and success of a forward-thinking organisation in the environmental containment and Bio-gas industries.
What you'll be doing
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to develop project plans and decision-making
Prepare, review and interpret technical documentation including drawings, project specifications, scope and determine the appropriate materials, and installation procedures.
Prepare project estimates and budget control
Procure and schedule resources to deliver projects on schedule and within budget
Supervise and coordinate construction activities of on-site works, ensuring quality standards and safety protocols are maintained
Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to obtain approvals and manage project requirements
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance engineering practices and efficiency
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Professional accreditation or working towards Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status through Engineers Australia
Minimum 2-3 years of post-graduation experience in civil engineering design, construction, or project management
Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design tools
Strong knowledge of Australian construction standards, building codes, and environmental regulations
Demonstrated ability to produce accurate technical drawings and comprehensive project documentation
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and develop practical engineering solutions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively unsupervised
Sound project management capabilities with experience coordinating multiple projects
A safety-conscious approach and commitment to maintaining high standards on-site
Experience in dam construction, HDPE or similar lining systems and waste water treatment would be highly advantageous
