The Job

n

To provide a caring, secure environment, through individual attention and group activities and to organise an appropriate range of activities for children from the age of 3-12 years

n

To provide safe, creative and appropriate play opportunities including preparing activities, organization programmes and arranging equipment

n

To supervise Play Workers, Play Leaders and support other team members

n

To be aware of and act in accordance with current legislation, good practice and club policies and procedures

n

To promote the high standards of the club at all times to parents, staff and visitors

n

To report back to the Directors as required with information relating to staff, children, activities and quality of the provision

n

The Commitment

n

This role is available for Mondays-Fridays of the school holidays only, excluding bank holidays. Hours are from 8am-6pm per day, flexible working hours may be available.

n

Salary And Benefits

n

GBP14-GBP16 per hour depending on experience. Free childcare for your own children aged 3-12 years.

We Are Looking For

n

Someone who loves to see children of all ages enjoying different activities and having fun. You'll be friendly and approachable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.



You will be able to work closely with the Directors to ensure that the club organisation and administration is of the highest quality.

- Level 3 qualification or above in Childcare (Essential)
n
- Experience working with children in a fast paced workplace (Essential)
n
- Knowledge of safeguarding (Essential)
n
- Experience of working in an Early Years setting (Essential)
n
- Paediatric First Aid training (Preferred)
n
- Management experience within childcare (Essential)
n

We are committed to safeguarding; all staff will be required to have a DBS check and references before starting.

Specific Fun fest Holiday Club training will be provided to successful candidates.

About Fun Fest Holiday Club

n

Fun fest Holiday Club is different because it offers children a choice about how they spend their holiday. There are over 50 activities to choose from and each activity runs differently every time.

n
