Role Summary

n

As the Food & Beverage Attendant, you will support event clients, customers and guests during special occasions within the hotel. Working in a team, you will assist the Events Supervisor and Assistant Director of Food & Beverage in day‐to‐day operations and help achieve our purpose of delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Meet and greet guests arriving and departing functions and meetings
n
- Assist with set‐up of functions and meeting spaces, adhering to safe manual handling practices
n
- Deliver personalized service in a large‐scale operation
n
- Ensure the delivery of brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times
n
- Serve food and beverage to guests according to established sequence of service and procedures
n
- Maintain constant communication with the kitchen team and sales & marketing team
n

Qualifications

n

n




- Previous restaurant or events experience in a hotel or fast‐paced environment
n
- Valid and current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate for Victoria
n
- Solid interpersonal, communication and time‐management skills
n
- Excellent guest service skills, able to work autonomously and as part of a team
n
- Ability to create a positive first impression
n
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
n
