The Driver / Yardperson supports the day-to-day operation of the Sumner Park yard through the safe and efficient delivery and collection of equipment, while assisting with general yard duties as required.

n

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on driving. You'll spend much of your time on the road delivering equipment to customers, while also helping maintain an organised, safe and efficient yard when onsite.

n

No two days are the same. We're looking for someone who's happy to turn their hand to whatever needs doing and takes pride in delivering great service.

What You'll Do:

n

- Deliver and collect equipment safely and professionally from customer sites across SEQ.
n
- Load, unload and secure equipment for transport.
n
- Carry out pre-start checks and basic inspections before equipment leaves and returns to the yard.
n
- Assist with preparing, receiving and organising equipment ready for dispatch.
n
- Keep the yard clean,



secure and well organised.
n
- Support the workshop and yard team with general labouring and day-to-day tasks.
n
- Operate forklifts and other equipment where licensed.
n
- Maintain delivery records and report any damaged or faulty equipment.
n
- Work safely at all times and take pride in looking after company vehicles, tools and equipment.

What We're Looking For:

n

n
- Current MR Licence (HR Licence highly regarded).
n
- Safe driving record and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
n
- Experience in a delivery driver, transport, yard or warehouse environment.
n
- Forklift Licence (preferred).
n
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
n
- Reliable, hardworking and willing to get stuck in wherever needed.
n
- Construction, hire or industrial industry experience (advantageous).
n
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
