Alzahra Academy Ltd is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Arabic Teachers to join our primary education team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' language development and cultural understanding. Based in Wollert VIC 3750, this role is pivotal in delivering high-quality Arabic language instruction to primary students, fostering their communication skills, cultural awareness, and love for the Arabic language.

What you'll be doing

n

Planning and delivering engaging Arabic language lessons to primary-aged students, utilising a variety of teaching methods and resources

n

Developing curriculum-aligned lesson plans that cater to different learning levels and abilities within the classroom

n

Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their language development

n

Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and builds confidence

n

Incorporating cultural education into lessons to help students understand and appreciate Arabic-speaking cultures

n

Collaborating with colleagues to support the broader educational objectives of the academy

n

Maintaining detailed records of student attendance, progress and achievement

n

Communicating regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and language development

n

What we're looking for

n

Qualification in Teaching or relevant tertiary qualification with specialisation in Arabic language instruction

n

Current registration with the relevant teaching regulatory body (or eligibility to register)

n

Demonstrated proficiency in Arabic language (written and spoken)





n

Experience teaching Arabic to primary-aged students in an educational setting

n

Strong knowledge of primary education curricula and age-appropriate teaching methodologies

n

Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment

n

Passionate commitment to supporting student learning and development

n

Robust communication and interpersonal skills

n

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team

n

Flexibility and adaptability to part-time scheduling requirements

n

Preferred experience includes knowledge of Islamic education principles, experience in multicultural educational settings, and familiarity with educational technology tools.
