Solicitor / Associate - Insurance lawyer

Our client is one of Australia's largest and vastly growing law firm with a leading reputation.They prioritise personal growth and career objectives, while connecting you with highly skilled and motivated professionals. Their Sydney office is now looking for a Associate / Senior Associate level lawyer to work in their Insurance team.

About the role

n

We are actively seeking an Associate / Senior Associate with expertise in Insurance law to join a well regarded Sydney specialist team.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Engage directly with clients, managing relationships and delivering tailored legal advice
n
- Receive guidance and mentorship from leading experts in the insurance law field
n
- Develop expertise in insurance advisory work, including regulatory and compliance matters
n
- Provide support on complex coverage analysis, including liability assessments and issues relating to non-disclosure or misrepresentation
n
- Assist insurers with the resolution of claims disputes, investigations, and complaints
n

n

About you

n

You will have 4+ years PAE with experience in insurance law with a 'can do' approach and a team player attitude.

n

Additionally, you will have:

n

n




- Strong analytical skills to interpret expert reports, contracts, legislation, and regulatory materials
n
- Ability to draft clear, concise written communications and explain complex legal concepts in plain, accessible language
n
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with clients and other stakeholders
n
- Genuine interest in building a career and expanding professional networks within the general insurance sector
n
