CHDC's Agribusiness Development Coordinator works to facilitate and grow economic opportunity for agriculture and agribusiness across the Central Highlands.
$110,000 - $130,000 per annum
5 weeks annual leave

About the role
Central Highlands Development Corporation (CHDC) is the lead economic and tourism development agency for the Central Highlands, Queensland.
CHDC's full-time Agribusiness Development Coordinator establishes and maintains professional relationships with business, industry, government, and community stakeholders; promotes and implements agricultural projects and programs; and advocates for the region’s agricultural sector to attract investment and support the productivity, value‑adding, and profitability of the Central Highlands’ primary industries.
Duties/Key Responsibilities
Agribusiness Development & Advocacy: Drive initiatives that strengthen and promote the Central Highlands agricultural sector.
Projects, Programs & Events: Deliver key initiatives including industry development projects, funded programs and events such as AGTECH.
Stakeholder Engagement: Foster productive partnerships with industry, government and community stakeholders.
Innovation & Growth: Identify new opportunities, secure funding and support regional agribusiness growth and investment.
Team & Culture: Contribute to a positive workplace culture and represent CHDC professionally across all interactions.
Skills and Experience
Qualifications and/or experience in agriculture, agribusiness, business or a related field.
Sound knowledge of the agricultural sector and its opportunities and challenges.
Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
Experience delivering projects, programs or events.
Strong communication, organisational and Microsoft 365 skills.
Current driver's licence.
$110,000 - $130,000 per annum
