Your new companyA well-established and growing electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Leading Hand Electrician to join their team on a permanent basis.

Operating across the commercial construction, fit-out, healthcare and industrial sectors, this business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality electrical, communications and technology solutions throughout Sydney.

Your recent roleReporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee electrical installations across a range of commercial construction and fit-out projects while leading and mentoring junior electricians and apprentices.

n

This is a hands-on position offering variety, autonomy and long-term career development within a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading electrical installation works on commercial projects
n
- Supervising and mentoring electricians, apprentices and trade assistants
n
- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
n




- Fault finding, testing and commissioning electrical systems
n
- Coordinating with clients, subcontractors and site personnel
n
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard
n
- Maintaining compliance with Australian Standards and site requirements
n

What you'll need to succeed

n

n
- NSW Electrical Licence
n
- Minimum 2 years' post-apprenticeship experience
n
- Previous Leading Hand or senior electrician experience
n
- Strong knowledge of AS3000 and current electrical standards
n
- Current driver's licence and ACMA licenceStrong fault-finding and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and organisational abilitiesExperience in commercial construction, fit-outs or healthcare environments is highly regarded
