We’re expanding our team and looking for a Winding Operator to join our industry-leading transformer manufacturing facility. Whether you’re an experienced winder or someone with strong technical aptitude who wants to learn a unique trade, this is an exciting opportunity to step into a stable, rewarding role.
As a Winding Operator, you’ll play a key role in building the internal components of power transformers. Your craftsmanship directly impacts product quality, reliability and performance.
This is a day shift position (6:00am to 2:30pm), offering predictable hours, work–life balance and a steady routine.
What you’ll be doing:
- Operating coil winding machines to manufacture transformer windings
- Measuring, cutting and layering copper or aluminium conductors
- Interpreting technical drawings and work instructions
- Maintaining high levels of accuracy, consistency and quality
- Working closely with production, test and engineering teams
- Ensuring a safe, clean and organised work environment

Who We’re Looking For
No transformer experience? No problem – we’ll train you.
- Mechanically minded or have hands‑on trade experience
- Detail-focused with robust pride in their work
- Comfortable in a workshop or manufacturing environment
- Reliable, proactive and eager to learn
Winding coil experience would be highly regarded but not essential!
