Position Overview

Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Mechanical Engineering Intern to join its team in Oakleigh, VIC. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or current student to gain hands‐on experience in the field of mechanical engineering.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Assist the mechanical engineering team in designing and developing new products
n
- Conduct research and analysis to support product development
n
- Create and modify engineering drawings using CAD software
n
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects
n
- Participate in testing and troubleshooting of products
n
- Assist with documentation and technical writing
n
- Attend meetings and provide input on project progress
n




- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
n
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
n
- Proficient in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
n
- Strong problem‐solving and critical‐thinking skills
n
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
n
- Detail‐oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
n
- Passion for learning and a desire to gain hands‐on experience in the field
n
- Available to work full‐time for the duration of the internship
n
- Hands‐on experience in a fast‐paced and energetic work environment
n
- Exposure to a wide range of projects and industries
n
- Mentorship and guidance from experienced engineers
