Responsibilities

- Carry out measurements and basic calculations
n
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
n
- Erect and maintain trestle and plank systems
n
- Handle painting and decorating materials
n
- Use painting and decorating tools and equipment
n
- Remove and replace doors, windows, and components
n
- Prepare surfaces for painting
n
- Apply paint using brushes and rollers
n
- Apply textured coating finishes by brush, roller, or spray
n
n
Eligibility Requirements
n
To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship, you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have full working rights in Australia.

- Genuine interest in undertaking a Painting Apprenticeship

- Possess a White Card, or the ability to obtain one as soon as possible
n
- Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour
n
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
n
- Positive attitude, reliability, and robust work ethic

- Able to follow instructions and take direction
n
- Trustworthy and motivated
n

Preferred (but not essential): Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle, Previous painting or construction-related work experience.
