A designated Supervisor oversees both construction and restoration activities, maintaining high service standards and efficient coordination. Role Description The Construction Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Melbourne, VIC, responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction and restoration activities on assigned projects. This role coordinates site operations, manages subcontractors and trades, and ensures that work is delivered safely, on schedule, and to quality and compliance standards.

The Construction

Supervisor conducts regular site inspections, monitors progress against project plans, and addresses issues promptly to minimize delays and risks. They maintain ongoing communication with Client Account Managers, insurers, and property owners,



providing clear updates and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The role also involves enforcing construction safety protocols, supporting waste management and environmental initiatives, and contributing to continuous improvement in processes and service delivery.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills and Site Supervision capabilities to manage multiple trades, coordinate workflows, and oversee daily site operations.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to liaise with clients, insurers, internal teams, and subcontractors, and to prepare clear reports and updates.
- Candidates should possess proficient Inspection skills to assess site conditions, verify workmanship quality, and ensure compliance with building codes and project specifications.
- Candidates should possess solid Construction Safety knowledge to implement safety plans, promote safe work practices, and ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards.
- Relevant building or construction qualifications and/or trade background; registration or experience in domestic and commercial building environments is highly beneficial.
- Proven experience in supervision within construction, restoration, or insurance-building projects, ideally in commercial and domestic settings.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with capability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with environmentally responsible building practices and waste management processes is advantageous.
