CrewSELECT is seeking an experienced Control Panel Builder / A-Grade Electrician for a hands-on workshop role in Bibra Lake.
This position suits a highly capable electrician who can confidently work unsupervised, interpret electrical drawings and complete control panel assembly, wiring, testing and fault-finding to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Build, wire and assemble electrical control panels and switchboards
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings
- Install and terminate:
- Contactors, relays and terminal blocks
- Circuit breakers and protection devices
- PLCs and associated control equipment
- VSDs and motor-control equipment
- Transformers and power supplies
- Sensors, switches and other control devices
- Complete control wiring, power wiring and cable terminations
- Test and inspect completed panels
- Fault-find and rectify electrical, wiring and component issues
- Modify and upgrade existing control panels
- Complete testing records and electrical documentation
- Maintain excellent safety, housekeeping and workmanship standards
- Assist with site installation and commissioning when required
Essential Requirements
- Current WA A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Proven control-panel or switchboard-building experience
- Background as an Industrial Electrician, Electrical Fitter or similar
- Ability to confidently interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Robust electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Current Australian working rights
- Strong safety awareness and knowledge of relevant Australian Standards
Highly Regarded
- Experience with PLC control systems
- Experience with VSDs, motor controls and automation equipment
- Industrial machinery or manufacturing experience
- Panel testing and commissioning experience
- Experience modifying and fault-finding existing control systems
- Previous customer-site experience
