Role Description - DOCTOR…

Face Clinik is seeking a qualified Medical Practitioner to join our clinical team as a part-time Cosmetic Doctor.

This is an on-site position at our Kingswood clinic, working Mondays.

The Cosmetic Doctor will conduct medical consultations, assess clients’ suitability for cosmetic procedures and provide appropriate prescribing and clinical oversight. Depending on the practitioner’s qualifications and experience, the role may also include performing cosmetic injectable and other non-surgical aesthetic treatments.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive medical consultations and clinical assessments

Review medical histories, medications, allergies and potential contraindications

Determine client suitability for cosmetic procedures

Develop protected and individualised treatment plans

Provide appropriate prescribing and clinical oversight in accordance with current regulatory requirements

Perform cosmetic injectable and non-surgical aesthetic treatments within scope of practice, where appropriately trained

Obtain and document informed consent

Clearly explain expected outcomes, limitations, risks and alternative treatment options

Review clients following treatment and manage clinical concerns or complications

Support nurses and other clinical team members with treatment planning and clinical decision-making

Maintain accurate, timely and confidential medical records

Adhere to infection-control,



medication-management and clinical governance requirements

Contribute to clinic safety protocols and quality-improvement processes

Qualifications and Experience

Current unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Appropriate professional indemnity insurance

Current prescribing authority for relevant medications within scope of practice

Experience or recognised training in cosmetic medicine, cosmetic injectables, dermatology or aesthetic treatments

Strong clinical assessment, consultation and informed-consent skills

Sound knowledge of facial anatomy, contraindications, complication recognition and emergency management

Commitment to ethical, evidence-based and patient-centred care

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively within a large multidisciplinary clinical team

Confidence using digital systems for clinical documentation, prescribing and record-keeping

Availability to work on-site on Mondays

Commitment to ongoing professional development in cosmetic and aesthetic medicine

Previous experience in a cosmetic clinic, dermatology practice, plastic surgery setting or related healthcare environment is highly regarded.

Role Description





Face Clinik is seeking a qualified Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EEN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a part-time, on-site Cosmetic Nurse position.

The Cosmetic Nurse will perform and assist with cosmetic treatments, including injectable and skin procedures, within their individual scope of practice and under the appropriate prescribing, supervision and clinical governance arrangements.

Key responsibilities include

Conducting comprehensive client consultations and clinical assessments

Assessing treatment suitability and identifying contraindications

Developing appropriate treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team

Performing or assisting with cosmetic injectable, skin and other non-surgical treatments within scope of practice

Obtaining and documenting informed consent

Providing clear pre-treatment and post-treatment education

Maintaining accurate, timely and confidential clinical records

Following infection-control, medication-safety and clinical risk-management protocols

Monitoring treatment outcomes and coordinating client follow-up

Recognising and responding appropriately to adverse events or complications

Supporting appointment coordination and efficient clinic operations

Contributing to a warm, professional and client-focused clinic experience

Qualifications and Experience

Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as either an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse

Eligibility to undertake cosmetic procedures within the applicant’s qualifications, competence and scope of practice

Cosmetic nursing experience or recognised training in cosmetic injectables, dermatology, skin treatments or aesthetic medicine

Strong clinical assessment, informed-consent and client-education skills

Sound understanding of infection prevention, medication safety and clinical risk management

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and manage client expectations professionally

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team

Strong organisation and time-management skills, including the ability to adapt to changing appointment schedules

Confidence using clinical software and digital systems for documentation, scheduling and record-keeping

- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based cosmetic practice

Previous experience in a cosmetic clinic, dermatology practice or related healthcare environment is highly regarded.
