n Work Type: Permanent Full-Time Onsite

An established manufacturing organisation is seeking a Safety & Quality Systems Support Officer to join its HSEQ/Technical team in Port Kembla.

n

This role has evolved to place a strong focus on document control, procedure development, process documentation, and quality systems support. We are seeking a highly organised qualified who can analyse existing operational processes, document workflows, maintain controlled documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and warehouse operations.

n

You will work closely with operational teams to understand how functions interact, document current processes, maintain quality and safety systems, and provide support across technical and laboratory activities.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Develop, review and maintain operational procedures and work instructions
n
- Manage document control processes and document updates
n
- Map and document business and operational processes
n
- Support Quality Management System administration
n
- Assist with internal audits, investigations and corrective actions
n
- Support risk assessments and safety system documentation
n
- Maintain records and compliance documentation
n
- Support product testing activities within the laboratory environment
n




- Assist with technical enquiries and customer documentation
n
- Collaborate with operational stakeholders to improve system effectiveness
n

About You

n

n
- Strong document control and word processing skills
n
- Experience preparing procedures, work instructions, policies or process documentation
n
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail
n
- Ability to understand and document operational workflows
n
- Experience working within manufacturing, industrial, engineering, logistics or quality environments
n
- Familiarity with ISO-based management systems highly regarded
n
- Exposure to quality, compliance or WHS systems desirable
n
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
n
