The Bike and Brew are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Motorcycle Mechanic to join their team in Maryborough QLD.

n

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

n

n
- Dismantle engines and repair or replace defective parts, such as magnetos, carburettors, and generators.
n
- Remove cylinder heads, grind valves, and scrape off carbon, and replace defective valves, pistons, cylinders, and rings, using hand tools and power tools.
n
- Repair or replace other parts, such as headlights, horns, handlebar controls, gasoline and oil tanks, starters, and mufflers.
n
- Repair and adjust motorcycle subassemblies such as forks, transmissions, brakes, and drive chains, according to specifications.




n
- Replace defective parts, using hand tools, Arbor presses, adaptable power presses, or power tools.
n
- Reassemble and test subassembly units.
n
- Disassemble subassembly units and examine condition, movement, or alignment of parts visually or using gauges.
n

About the Candidate

n

n
- Certificate III in Motorcycle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
n
- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Motorcycle Mechanic
n
- The ability to work in a team environment
n
