Are you an experienced Senior Azure Cloud Platform Engineer looking to design and automate enterprise‑scale cloud infrastructure supporting data, analytics and AI? Resolve Recruit is partnering with a leading Commonwealth Government agency to find experienced Azure engineers with strong capability across Azure, Terraform, Azure DevOps and data and analytics platforms.
In this role, you will be responsible for the detailed design, development and implementation of Azure infrastructure supporting data and analytics workloads. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will use a Terraform‑based Infrastructure as Code model to deliver secure, scalable and reliable cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement Azure infrastructure in support of data and analytics workloads.
- Manage Azure hosted data and analytics platforms such as Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Web Apps and Logic Apps.
- Apply Azure security features including networking, identity and access management,
and policy.
- Deliver infrastructure as code using Terraform and manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design and implement advanced analytics and AI solutions.
- Deliver and/or administer Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or other analytical services.
Experience & Skills
- Experience designing, building and maintaining cloud hosted platforms and services (Infrastructure, Platform and Software as a Service).
- Experience developing, implementing and supporting cloud infrastructure using an infrastructure as code (IaC) approach.
- Understanding of cloud security features for platforms and services such as identity and access management, networking and policy.
- Experience working on data and analytics focused projects, including data engineering, storage or data science.
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams using an Agile methodology.
- Desirable: experience in Machine Learning Operations (MLOps), Large Language Model Operations (LLMOps), data lake or geospatial platforms.
